To play the UK National Lottery, there are rules and regulations that you must agree to.
You may only buy a valid ticket from a genuine national lottery retailer and there are certain cut off times for buying lottery tickets, after that time, no more will go on sale. Scratch cards will be on sale all the time and there is no draw which goes with them as they are instant wins.
The National Lottery is run by a company called ‘Camelot’ and the rules and regulations are clearly outlined on the National Lottery website. Camelot accepts no responsibility for inaccurate information being provided on other websites with regards to the National Lottery.
Also, it warns us about all the scam emails going around ‘apparently’ from the National Lottery. The National Lottery states that they will NEVER tell a player how much has been won in an email or ask for ANY personal information such as name, address etc. Be vary wary and if in doubt, do not open it and just report the message to your internet services provider.
Copies of player’s guides, The National Lottery game rules and advertising campaign details can be obtained from The National Lottery line or via post to The National Lottery, Liverpool.
